CLASSES OFFERED & DESCRIPTION
Accepting students ages 2.5 years and up
Jazz
Jazz is strongly based on classical ballet techniques and choreography. It includes strength, flexibility and conditioning technique and incorporates movement with clean and strong lines originating from the chest and hips.
Contemporary/Lyrical
Contemporary is an abstract dance style that fuses ballet, jazz, and modern techniques with levels of improvisation and interpretation. Its movement is about speed, control, strength, change of direction, and inversion. Lyrical dance is primarily recognized as a dance genre that utilizes both ballet and jazz techniques. It is a more emotive and expressive piece of work often relating to the lyrics of the song or theme the dancers are performing to. Both of these styles are taught.

Ballet
Ballet is a classical dance form demanding grace, strength, precision, and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement.
Hip-Hop
Hip-Hop is a unique and exciting style of street dance that is most commonly performed to hip-hop music. It is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art. It's three main styles are popping, locking, and breaking.
Flamenco
Flamenco is a highly-expressive, Spanish dance form. It is characterized by hand clapping, percussive footwork, and intricate hand, arm, and body movements. The utilization of castanets and fans is also well-recognized in this dance style.
Uniform requirement: Studio leotard, pink tights, ballerina shoes, and ballet skirt or shorts (excludes ballet babies).
Uniform requirement: Studio crop top or leotard, studio leggings, and jazz shoes.
Uniform requirement: Studio t-shirt, studio leggings, and clean tennis shoes (only applies to hip-hop kids & hip-hop jrs). Street wear for hip-hop int/adv.
Uniform requirement: Studio crop top or leotard, studio leggings or joggers.
Uniform requirement: Studio leotard, nude/tan tights, flamenco skirt, and flamenco shoes.
